Mt. Zion Apostolic Church

Zion Apostolic Institute was begun in 1987 by Sis. Jones as a vehicle to teach doctrinal issues to those who lack knowledge. The institute is held on an annual basis or as needed for new converts. It is not your traditional “new convert” class, instead it deals with deep doctrinal issues. The classes address a wide range of issues such as :

• Who is God ?
• Jesus Name Baptism
• The Holy Ghost
• Holiness
• The Royal Law and the Mosaic Law
• How the Pope thought to change the Royal Law
• The Law of the Beasts and Fowls
• The Contract Signed in Blood
• The Beast, the Dragon, and the Woman
• Do Women have the right to preach?
• Pagan Festivals in Christian Worship
• Foot Washing

During the annual period when we have the institute, classes are held on a weekly basis for two hours. At the end of each subject, tests are administered and graded; and a final exam is given at the completion of the institute. Graduation ceremonies are held and diplomas are given out. The person with the highest score for that year will be the valedictorian of the class and deliver a short message during the graduation ceremony.

These classes are open to all in the Mobile, Al. area. In the future, we hope to develop these into more expansive written material and make them available by correspondence to all who desire them.
